4 slices bacon

4 slices cheddar cheese

4 hamburger buns

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tbsp yellow mustard

1/2 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup sliced tomato

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

Step 2

Divide the ground beef into four equal portions, and shape them into patties.

Step 3

Season the patties with salt and pepper on both sides.

Step 4

Grill the burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Step 5

While the burgers are cooking, cook the bacon until crisp in a skillet over medium heat.

Step 6

Once the burgers are almost done cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and continue cooking until the cheese is melted.

Step 7

Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or two until lightly golden brown.

Step 8

Combine mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard in a small bowl to make the sauce.

Step 9

Assemble the burgers by spreading the sauce on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a lettuce and tomato slice.

Step 10

Add the cooked burger with melted cheese and a slice of bacon, then top with the other half of the bun.

Step 11

Serve immediately and enjoy!
