Cheesy Meatball Pasta Bake

This delicious cheesy pasta bake is loaded with meatballs and topped with melted cheese.

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 large egg

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 lb penne pasta

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Step 3

Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 minutes.

Step 4

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and return to pot.

Step 5

Stir in marinara sauce and cooked meatballs.

Step 6

Transfer pasta mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Step 7

Bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
