Ingredients
1 can full-fat coconut milk
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup agave syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp agar agar powder
1/4 cup water
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium saucepan, combine the coconut milk, almond milk, agave syrup, and vanilla extract. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally. Heat the mixture for 5-10 minutes, or until fully combined.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together the agar agar powder and water. Add the agar agar mixture to the coconut milk mixture and stir until fully combined.
Step 3
Increase the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a simmer. Simmer for 2-3 minutes or until the agar agar has dissolved completely.
Step 4
Remove the mixture from the heat and pour it into 4 ramekins. Let the panna cotta cool to room temperature and then chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or until set.
Step 5
To serve, run a knife around the edges of the ramekins and invert onto a plate. Garnish with fruit or coconut flakes if desired.
