Ingredients

1 lb ground pork

1 cup almond flour

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/4 cup lard or coconut oil, for frying

Instructions

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, almond flour, smoked paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a thin, oval-shaped patty.

Step 3

In a shallow dish, beat the eggs. In another shallow dish, combine the grated parmesan and cheddar cheese.

Step 4

Dip each patty in the beaten eggs, then coat it in the cheese mixture, pressing the cheese onto the meat to help it stick.

Step 5

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Melt the lard or coconut oil in the skillet.

Step 6

Add the patties to the skillet and fry for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 7

Serve hot.
